Physical prices of Thai USS3 rubber fall to THB123.11-THB125.00 vs THB127.75-THB128/kg Monday on negative leads from futures markets and weak demand. “As prices of processed rubber have nosedived, rates of raw material such as USS3 have also fallen,” a trader in Hat Yai says; RSS3 grade manufacturers are reluctant to buy raw material as they anticipate prices to fall more. In the Hat Yai market, both USS3 and RSS3 grade rubber are offered at the same price–THB125/kg–a rare event. Outside the central markets, factories are paying THB125-THB126/kg for USS3. Market arrivals are slow due to lower prices. Sales in Thailand”s three main central markets total around 46.8 tons versus 66 tons Monday: 17.3 tons in Hat Yai, 14.5 tons in Surat Thani, 15 tons in Chandee.
