[Dow Jones] RSS3 rubber on the Agricultural Futures Exchange of Thailand are higher in line with Shanghai. AFET is also catching up with gains in other Asian rubber futures Friday, when the Thai market was closed for a public holiday. Rains persist in south Thailand, disrupting tapping. “It”s raining less this week but arrivals may stay low for the immediate term as it was raining in many areas of the south last week,” a trader in the region says. There will be scattered rain in the south this week, Thailand”s Meteorological Department says. Benchmark February RSS3 rubber is trading THB1.95 higher at THB144.3/kg, off an intraday high of THB145.8/kg.
