[Dow Jones] Physical prices of Thai USS3 rubber rise to THB127.50-THB127.73/kg vs THB126.25-THB127.72/kg Wednesday as arrivals remain low, with sellers reluctant to part with stocks in anticipation of higher prices. Rain in south Thailand is disrupting tapping. “The baht is stronger today [Thursday] and Tocom is down, but prices are up because we are all fighting for the few kilograms in the central markets,” says a trader in Hat Yai. Outside the central markets, factories are paying THB131-THB132/kg. Sales in Thailand”s three main central markets total around 50.1 tons Thursday versus 55.8 tons Wednesday: 12.4 tons in Hat Yai, 3.7 tons in Surat Thani, 34 tons in Chandee.
