2 Feb 2015: Thailand Wants To Meet Malaysia, Indonesia Over Low Rubber Price

BANGKOK, Jan 30 (Bernama) — Thailand has called for a meeting with Malaysia and Indonesia over low rubber price.
“The proposal to have the meeting was conveyed by Thai Prime Minister Gen Prayuth Chan-ocha to Malaysian Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein on the latter’s visit to the Government House here Friday.
“Gen Prayuth has asked Hishammuddin to convey the request to Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak,” government spokesperson Yongyuth Maiyarap said.
Hishammuddin, who arrived in Bangkok on Wednesday, also met Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Gen.Prawit Wongsuwarn, and his deputy and Thai Army Chief Gen Udomdej Sitabutr.
On Thursday, Hishammuddin and Prawit jointly chaired the 52nd General Border Committee Meeting between Thailand and Malaysia.
