Tocom rubber futures settle 1.3% lower in a day of rangebound trade as the market lacks strong leads, says Kaname Gokon, deputy manager of research at Okato Shoji Co.; he adds prices are likely to continue moving in the Y210-Y220/kg band next week, with potential for gains once deliveries for front-month cargoes pick up, as this will point to demand amid supply tightness in the current market as farmers limit raw material production due to depressed prices. Benchmark December rubber settles Y2.7 lower at Y211.9/kg.
