21 May 2014: Tocom Rubber Settles Flat; Supported Around Y200/Kg

Tocom rubber futures settle flat in a day of slow trade amid the lack of strong driving factors as supply concerns continue to weigh, say trade participants at an industry conference in Singapore. Physical traders say real demand as slowed as buyers lock in shipments only when they require the material, as they try to get the lowest prices possible amid sharp declines recently; most are eyeing support around Y200/kg. Benchmark October rubber settles unchanged at Y203.4/kg after moving in the tight Y202.7-Y206/kg range.
