12 Mar 2012: Thai USS3 Rubber Prices Rise; Low Output Supports

Physical prices of Thai USS3 rubber rise to THB108.82-THB109.75/kg from THB108.48-THB108.90/kg Friday, in line with gains on Tocom, with the low-production season offering support. Traders are still awaiting the government’s price-intervention plan, a trader in south Thailand says. Outside the central markets, factories are paying around THB111-THB113/kg. Sales in Thailand’s three main central markets total around 70 tons Monday versus 60.8 tons Friday: 9 tons in Hat Yai, 34 tons in Surat Thani, 27 tons in Chandee.
