SINGAPORE (Dow Jones)–Thailand”s government will hold a meeting Tuesday afternoon to discuss measures to support natural rubber prices, International Rubber Consortium Chief Secretary Yium Tavarolit said.
The Bangkok-based Yium said IRCo, together with Thai exporters, met Tuesday with Thai authorities for a preliminary discussion of potential options.
IRCo will inform Indonesia and Malaysia, the other members of the consortium, of any measures that Thailand adopts, he said.
Yium declined to mention any specific measures before they are endorsed
