Mar 15: Thai RSS3 Rubber Futures Settle Lower; Downside Limited

[Dow Jones] RSS3 rubber on Agricultural Futures Exchange of Thailand settles lower on cues from Shanghai rubber, which lost 3% today on fears of monetary tightening by China. Investors take short positions, liquidate longs, says Navarat Kaewpratarn, senior marketing official at Bangkok”s Future Agri Trade; adds AFET likely to trade lower tomorrow but downside limited by tight physical market; tips support at THB101.8/kg, resistance at THB103.5/kg. Benchmark AFET October RSS3 contract settles THB2.35 lower at THB102.45/kg, near intraday low of THB102.20/kg.
