Feb 2: Thai USS3 Rubber Prices Up On Tight Supply

[Dow Jones] Physical prices of Thai USS3 rubber slightly higher at THB92.37-THB92.55 vs THB91.19-THB91.42 yesterday due to tight supply. Outside central market, USS3 traded even higher at THB93.5. “Supply is declining as we are entering the wintering season,” says Phuket-based trading executive. Total quantity sold in three central markets of Thailand estimated at 92 tons vs 186 tons Monday: 22 tons in Hat Yai, 23 tons in Surat Thani, 47 tons in Chandee. (HLN)
