Dec 17: Thai USS3 Rubber Up; Strong Demand, Low Supply

[Dow Jones] Physical prices of Thai USS3 rubber higher on strong demand; at THB84.85-THB85.54 vs THB82.75-THB83.52 yesterday, as supplies remain below 100 tons for fourth successive day. “Suppliers are making only limited offers to factories as they expect prices to remain on the higher side for the next few days,” says trader in Hat Yai. Total availability in three central markets of Thailand 95 tons vs 67 tons yesterday: 19 tons in Hat Yai, 10 tons in Surat Thani, 66 tons in Chandee. (SAM)
