[Dow Jones] Physical prices of USS3 rubber in Thailand higher, tracking gains in futures markets, strong demand, limited supply due to ongoing rains in southern Thailand. Prices around THB71.46-THB71.89 vs THB69.50 yesterday. “Demand exceeds supply, and taking advantage of gains in futures, sellers of raw material have also increased their rates” says Bangkok-based trader. Total sales in three central markets of Thailand at 141 tons vs 108.45 tons yesterday. Sales comprise 26 tons in Hat Yai, 12 tons in Surat Thani, 103 tons in Chandee. (SAM)
