Sept 14: Thai USS3 Rubber Prices Ease Tracking Weak Futures

[Dow Jones] Physical prices of Thai USS3 rubber fall due to massive sell-off in rubber futures markets across Asia. “Raw material supply is still tight, but due to the overall downward correction in prices, USS3 also fell,” says trading executive in Thailand. Prices at THB65.25-THB67.27/kg vs THB69-THB70/kg Friday. Total volumes sold in three central markets of Thailand close to 118 tons; 27 tons in Hat Yai, 80 tons in Chandee, 11 tons in Surat Thani; 117 tons Friday, says Bangkok-based trader. (SAM)
