[Dow Jones] Asian physical rubber prices are higher in line with bellwether Tocom; rain in Thailand is limiting tapping, slowing arrivals; some Thai exporters are bullish on the outlook, citing good demand from China; “all Chinese tire makers are running out of rubber, can they use air to produce rubber? They will buy, especially as synthetic rubber prices are also going up,” says a major exporter. Thailand”s RSS3 for prompt August shipment changes hands at $4,930/ton, CIF, to a tire maker in China.
