Jul 5:Thai USS3 Rubber Prices Up; Demand To Stay Strong

[Dow Jones] Physical prices of Thai USS3 rubber rise to THB131.39-THB131.90/kg vs THB131.33-THB131.59/kg Monday; “everybody thinks that there”ll be more output soon, so prices will come down, but in fact, demand is persistently there,” a trader in Hat Yai says. Outside the central markets, factories are paying around THB135-THB136/kg. Sales in Thailand”s three main central markets total around 19.9 tons vs 24.44 tons Monday: 5.2 tons in Hat Yai, 1.7 tons in Surat Thani, 13 tons in Chandee.
