Jun 6: Thai USS3 Rubber Prices Up; Rain Curbs Tapping

[Dow Jones] Physical prices of Thai USS3 rubber rise to THB146.15-THB146.75/kg vs THB145.58-THB145.99/kg Friday, as Tocom rises and as arrivals remain low with rain disrupting tapping. Outside the central markets, factories are paying around THB149-THB150/kg. The Thai Meteorological Department is still forecasting thundershowers and heavy rains in southern Thailand this week. Sales in Thailand”s three main central markets total around 49.6 tons Monday versus 46 tons Friday: 12.4 tons in Hat Yai, 2.2 tons in Surat Thani, 35 tons in Chandee.
