Mar 2: Thai Rubber Futures Settle Up; THB175 Resistance

[Dow Jones] RSS3 rubber on the Agricultural Futures Exchange of Thailand settles 2.8% higher as investors are expecting prices to rebound soon on fundamentals as Thailand has entered the low-production season, says Thailand-based trader; he pegs resistance at THB175/kg. The bellwether Tocom is down; prices have come off sharply from record high levels last month. The benchmark AFET October RSS3 contract settles THB4.65 higher at THB173.25/kg, near the intraday high of THB173.45/kg.
