Aug 19: Asian Physical Rubber Up; Replanting Slows Supply

[Dow Jones] Asian physical rubber prices up on buoyant Tocom. Production slow–in addition to weather woes, replanting in major producing countries likely hitting production, says Kuala Lumpur-based executive at global trading firm. Thailand”s premium grade STR20 CV traded at $3,360/ton, FOB, for October shipment; special grade STR20 compound traded at $3,350/ton, CIF, for October shipment to China.
