[Dow Jones] Physical prices of Thai USS3 rubber rise to THB101.11-THB102.09/kg vs THB99.55-THB101.82/kg yesterday, as bellwether Tocom bullish earlier in trading day on positive sentiment from euro-zone financial package. USS3 arrivals remain slow even as Thailand exits wintering season as weather still unusually hot, dry; just over one ton total arrivals today. “It”s terrible, there”s just not enough raw material; sellers are not holding back stocks, they just have nothing to sell,” says Hat Yai-based rubber factory executive. Outside central markets, factories paying around THB102/kg. No arrivals at Surat Thani today as sellers head to private auction markets for better prices; no such markets in Hat Yai, Chandee. Total quantity sold in three central markets of Thailand estimated at 1.4 ton versus 17.55 tons yesterday: 0.5 ton in Hat Yai, 0.9 ton in Chandee.
