Apr 1: Thai USS3 Rubber Prices Up;No Supply At Surat Thani

Physical prices of Thai USS3 rubber rise to THB107.68-THB108.13/kg vs THB106.43-THB107.29 yesterday as arrivals remain slow in dry wintering season, Tocom up; prices break record for fifth consecutive day. No supply at Surat Thani today. More auction markets in Surat Thani than in Hat Yai and Chandee to choose from, so quantity tends to be lower, says trader in Thailand”s Yala province. Outside central markets, factories paying around THB109.5/kg. USS3 prices expected to remain high until normal latex output resumes after wintering. Total quantity sold in central markets of Thailand estimated at 28.7 tons versus 25.9 tons yesterday: 11.7 tons in Hat Yai, 17 tons in Chandee.
