[Dow Jones] Physical prices of Thai USS3 rubber at THB100.05-THB100.89/kg vs THB100.35-HB100.79/kg yesterday; prices holding firm amid wintering season. Outside central markets, factories paying around THB101.5/kg. “We tried to buy at prices lower than THB100/kg yesterday but couldn”t buy a lot, so we have to pay more today,” says Thai factory executive; adds trying best to price processed rubber lower as buyers unwilling to pay high prices, but raw material costs remain high. Total quantity sold in three central markets of Thailand estimated at 162.3 tons vs 134.7 tons yesterday: 54.3 tons in Hat Yai, 40 tons in Surat Thani, 68 tons in Chandee.
