[Dow Jones] Asian cash rubber prices move higher, despite decline on bellwether Tocom, with focus still on tight supply due to wintering season in Sumatra, rain in southern Thailand, traders say. “Supply is tight, particularly out of Indonesia due to wintering. There”s still buying interest from the big tire companies, but China haven”t come back into the market since the holiday, as they can get TSR20 grade around $10-$20 a ton cheaper from bonded (domestic) warehouses,” says trader in Singapore.
