Jul 3: Thai USS3 Rubber Prices Rise But Market Quiet

[Dow Jones] Physical prices of Thai USS3 rubber up, though buying interest muted. Rise mainly attributed to slight recovery off early lows in futures, thin physical supply. Output continues to be hampered by sporadic rain in key southern producing regions, though likely to improve soon as peak tapping season nears, says trader. Thai USS3 traded in Hat Yai Central Market at THB51.79/kg vs THB50.50/kg yesterday. (ANJ)
