May 4: Thai USS3 Rubber Prices Up On Rain-Induced Delays

[Dow Jones] Physical prices of Thai USS3 rubber rise slightly, with rain-induced tapping delays, low availability following recent wintering season main supportive factor, says trader. Adds, strong gains on SHFE, firmer crude oil prices also supportive; further upside likely in coming sessions. Thai USS3 traded on Hat Yai Central Market at THB55/kg vs THB54.03/kg Thursday. The market was closed Friday for a public holiday. (ANJ)
