HANOI, March 3 (Reuters) – Global rubber consumption will fall 6.4 percent this year to 20.73 million tonnes, the International Rubber Study Group (IRSG) said on Tuesday, forecasting a bigger drop than the 5 percent it had expected previously.
However, consumption could recover in 2010 to 22.04 million tonnes, which would be a rise of 6.3 percent from this year, the Singapore-based group of key rubber producers and consumers said in a report made available in Vietnam.
